About Olivia

Hi, I'm Olivia! Passionate about travel and keen to see as much of the world as possible. I stepped foot on my first ever cruise in September 2021, where I sailed for 6 days on board Silversea's beautiful Silver Moon - you can read all about my experience here. Since then, I've been lucky enough to sail through Southeast Asia with Seabourn and step foot on Scenic Eclipse, the world's first discovery yacht!

A few years ago the travel bug bit when I went backpacking around the world and ever since I have been keen to gain as much experience as possible within the travel industry. I have an archaeology degree and therefore I love incorporating historical and archaeological sites into my travels; visiting places like the Colosseum in Rome and Angkor Wat in Cambodia have been some of my favourite travel moments.

I also love reading, writing, and keeping active outdoors - you'll often find me on long walks in the countryside or hiking up in the Lake District!

Favourite Destination

It's hard to choose a favourite destination as the world is just so beautiful! However, I spent one year travelling throughout Asia and fell in love with Malaysian Borneo. Snorkelling with turtles and seeing orangutans in the wild was an unforgettable experience! I would love to go on an expedition cruise one day where I can travel to more off-the-beaten-track destinations such as Greenland or Patagonia.
