Another luxury cruise with Silversea? Oh yes! Last week Sales and Operations Director Clare was invited on board the beautiful Silver Dawn for a little three-day taste of Silversea's newest luxury cruise ship...

Last weekend James and Neil were fortunate enough to be invited on board Silversea’s newest ship, Silver Dawn, for a 3-night sailing from Lisbon down to the Algarve, before her inaugural sailing over to Barcelona. Both having been on many ships, this was right up there in terms luxury, service, and indulgence.

Ultra-luxury travel brand Silversea Cruises^® has announced the name of its first ship, Silver Nova^SM, developed as part of its innovative newbuild project known as Project Evolution. The revolutionary vessel, set for delivery in summer 2023, will be the first hybrid, luxury cruise ship free of local emissions at port, positioning Silversea at the forefront of sustainable cruising for years to come.

Silversea’s Sea and Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) programme has been designed by Adam Sachs, former editor in chief of Saveur magazine, and aims to offer guests an immersive culinary experience which reflects the destination they are travelling to. Connecting travellers to the region they are sailing in by sourcing authentic ingredients which are then prepared with respect to tradition and tell the story of the area the food originates from. From market trips and special dinners in the S.A.L.T. restaurant, to cooking demonstrations with local guest chefs, S.A.L.T.

Can I just start by saying how nice it was to resume travelling again! Olivia and I were extremely fortunate to be one of the first to sail on-board the brand-new Silver Moon as she embarked on a summer season of Greek Itineraries. What a magnificent ship she is!

The other week, my colleague Catherine and I were fortunate enough to be invited on board Silversea’s newest ship, the Silver Moon, for a sailing around the Greek Isles. The whole experience was absolutely incredible. It was my first ever cruise and I certainly started at the top! We were on board for six nights (the actual cruise was 10 nights, but we got on board a few days in).
