Explora Journeys offer a diversity of culinary experiences, each bringing their own personality, sophistication, and flair to a guest’s palette. These dining experiences harbour authentic, warm, and knowledgeable atmospheres delivered by a team working in cultural harmony with their colleagues and your menu.

Culinary and beverage experts bring together dining experiences with authenticity, provenance, and fresh, hand-selected, often rare ingredients. Dining on board an Explora Journeys vessel is a journey of art, immersion, and of course - taste. This is beyond breakfast, lunch, and dinner; this is a celebration of talent, cultures, and passions. 

But to describe the taste, textural, and visual ensemble of Explora Journeys dining in a few short words would be impossible.

Six restaurants, 12 bars and lounges, in-suite dining, and a chef’s kitchen and culinary class are journeys in their own right.


Anthology

A conglomeration of talents from celebrated chefs from across the world

Anthology is a one-of-a-kind culinary experience and subsequently a speciality, paid dining experience. Internationally-renowned chefs from across the world are invited to showcase their very best cuisine. A pairing is always perfectly matched, be it with a decadent wine from a celebrated vineyard or something refreshingly non-alcoholic.

You’ll experience exquisite food in contemporary, refined elegance with the opportunity to dine al-fresco. Low light levels and flawless decoration creates an intimate yet elevated atmosphere. The service matches the food - impeccable.


Emporium Marketplace

An effortless all-day dining experience

Emporium is a Greek word meaning a place offering many different things; a place for merchants to showcase their best produce. This dining experience places a focus on quality produce that’s freshly-prepared and conveniently available, giving guests the opportunity to pick what they want to eat, and when. 

  • Open all day 

Sushi, fresh seafood, rotisserie-cooked meats; pasta and pizza are baked fresh-to-order and bread is baked fresh daily. Sandwiches bring together the best flavours from the charcuterie, fromagerie, and boulangerie. Fresh pastries are available from the patisserie. Take your pick.

Sakura

An immersive, authentic Pan-Asian dining experience

Sakura is the Japanese word for the country’s iconic cherry blossom, a symbolic renewal of optimism and awe-inspiring beauty. This dining experience offers a variety of flavours from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia with high-end yet authentic results.

Marble & Co. Grill

A redefinition of the steakhouse-at-sea experience

Marble is named after the marbling of fat found only  in the most tender, succulent cuts of beef. After all, that’s what you’ll be eating here. Sumptuous, rare meats are personally sourced and sustainably farmed for a superlative dining experience.

The redefined European steakhouse experience is reflected through a modern, understated yet sophisticated design with soft lighting and relaxed, attentive service. Marble & Co. Grill even features an in-house dry-ager and wine cellar boasting a perfectly paired and superb selection from the finest vineyards in the world.

Fil Rouge

Fil Rouge is a sophisticated and intimate restaurant, offering a global tasting tour of French-inspired international cuisine, where guests are encouraged to take their time to appreciate both the cuisine and the intimate ambience.

An elegant dessert cart tempts with the freshest creations served tableside, and a superb wine selection showcases the best of both the Old and New World vineyards. Fil Rouge features that quality that can’t quite be described; a je ne sais quoi.

Med Yacht Club

A celebration of the Mediterranean’s dolce vita and all its flavours

Private dining and culinary school

The Chef’s Kitchen is an experience held in an ocean-front kitchen setting for just 12 guests. This is a chance to discover new ingredients, flavours, textures, and cultures, regardless of your cooking level.

The experience continuously evolves around the regions visited by the ship, and will also extend ashore with visits to local markets and hand-picked producers. The adjacent private dining room is the perfect venue for guests to celebrate their new skills, savour the incredible dishes they created, paired with superb wines from sommelier.
