Ponant announces brand-new catamaran cruise ship

Ponant has announced an incredible addition to their fleet of 13 cruise ships. Coming in at just 24 metres long, Spirit of Ponant is a catamaran cruise ship with just six passenger staterooms. Imagine island-hopping on this beauty—a catamaran where comfort, luxury and connection with nature all come together.  This is the Spirit of Ponant, and you’ll enjoy typically Ponant service from a crew of just four, comprising the Captain, a Ponant-appointed chef, a seaman and a steward. Intimacy doesn’t quite cut it—this is a new type of luxury cruising.

Embarking on the Spirit of Ponant, is to have an authentic experience of sailing at sea, with extremely easy access to the sea and water sports activities. The concept and design of this Lagoon Seventy 7 yacht has been praised by everyone in the industry, won over by the spacious interior and exterior areas. Guests will really appreciate the high-end finishings as much as her exceptional sailing qualities

- Guillaume Le Brec, Ponant Captain

Designed and built in France, the Spirit of Ponant will chart course to some of the world's most enchanting island destinations. Scheduled for launch in June 2024, the yacht will grace Corsica, France, for the summer season before a winter voyage to the Seychelles in 2025. Itineraries are tailored based on the Captain's recommendations and guests' preferences. PONANT's culinary delights, extensive wine cellar, signature cocktails, room service, and a plethora of nautical activities such as paddleboarding, wakeboarding, and snorkelling are all inclusive.

  • A 100% personalised trip with itineraries built with you, according to your wishes
  • Exclusive service across six staterooms for 12 guests maximum from four crew members
  • All-inclusivity with gastronomy, wine cellar and cocktails signed by PONANT
  • Ultimate comfort on an elegant yacht, open and light spaces, cutting-edge equipment
  • 360° destinations with local experiences for total immersion in the region visited
  • A more responsible approach sailing trips closer to nature

Other than that, she’s available for charter with Panache Cruises but some itineraries are able to book on a cabin-to-cabin basis—obviously, also with Panache Cruises.
