Azamara Introduces 36 Brand-New AzAmazing Evenings to 2027 Season

When it comes to Destination Immersion, Azamara Cruises are the undisputed kings, their voyages boasting a blend of extended stays, off-the-beaten track ports and unique cultural experiences that set them apart from other cruise lines. 

However, it’s their AzAmazing Evenings – a set of exclusive after-hour events in sought-after venues which celebrate the traditions, arts and heritage of each destination – that keep guests coming back for more. Indeed, Azamara enthusiasts will be delighted to hear that the line has last week announced the addition of 36 new-to-brand AzAmazing Evenings for their 2027 season—and there’s plenty to get stuck into.

These new Evenings are set to perfectly complement Azamara’s 2027 deployment - which has itself seen the introduction of 68 all-new itineraries - building on their promise to prioritise Destination Immersion and targeting guests who favour overnights and late departures over extended time at sea. 

Though the Evenings will be scattered across the entire season, they’ll feature most notably on Grand Voyages and the impressive World Cruise. Given that these particular sailings often attract the well-travelled and the destination-focused, unique experiences not found elsewhere are likely to appeal.

The addition of 36 new events brings Azamara’s total 2027 AzAmazing Evening count up to 121, a number which comprises 101 ashore experiences and 20 onboard events. Spanning the entire globe, the Evenings are diverse in their offering, with everything from dance performances to live music to gastronomic experiences on the agenda. For those on extended journeys, the AzAmazing Evenings will serve as a kind of anchor, a fixture of the voyage connecting widespread regions together.

In true Azamara style, the 2027 deployment will focus largely on the Mediterranean, with many of the new AzAmazing Evenings set to take place in some of Europe’s most iconic cities across the Greek Islands, the Adriatic Coast and beyond. Towards the end of 2027 and into 2028, itineraries will take the AzAmazing Evening programme into Asia, the Middle East and South Pacific.  

Some of the 2027 highlights include: 

• An Evening of Hawaiian Spirit – On Pacific Islands sailings calling at Oahu, guests will enjoy a concert by four-time GRAMMY Award-winning musician Kalani Pe’a at the Hawaii Theater.
• Spirit of Brazil – A Pier Mauá evening, jam-packed with vibrant colours, samba dancing and dazzling costumes, underscored by Frevo, Samba de Gafieira, Capoeira and live percussion, rounded off by a Rio Carnival finale.
• Majestic Dragon Pearl Show – Guests travelling through Ha Long Bay, Vietnam will be treated to a breathtaking production, combining contemporary dance with traditional Vietnamese music and state-of-the-art 3-D mapping, nestled within Vietnam’s first cave show dining venue.

• Estonian National Male Choir Live at The Opera, Tallinn – Baltic intensive sailings will feature a night of folk songs, contemporary pieces and Gregorian chants performed by the Estonian National Male Choir.
• An Irish Spirit Social at Midleton Distillery – Guests will spend the evening at Midleton Distillery, Cork - the home of Jameson Irish Whiskey - where they’ll enjoy a tour, a whiskey tasting, canapés and traditional Irish music. 

Anyone on a cruise lasting seven nights or longer (with the exception of some transoceanic voyages) will enjoy an AzAmazing Evening as part of the experience. Voyages lasting nine days or longer will feature an ashore Evening where logistically possible, whilst those on 7-8 day cruises will be treated to an onboard event. 

Azamara’s 2027 season is already available to book and already selling well. The expanded AzAmazing Evening programme highlights yet another big step forward for the brand as they continue to enhance their unique offering in line with the wider luxury cruise market.
