Azamara's culinary delights

In late May I had the pleasure of travelling on Azamara Journey in the Mediterranean.

The food on Azamara is fabulous with lots of choice for breakfast including the usual Eggs & Bacon fare with Waffles, Pancakes along with Indian and Mexican options.

A friend who was with me has Coeliac Disease and the head waiter came to escort her through breakfast daily to advise what she could & couldn’t eat. My friend was delighted to see gluten free pizza on the menu.

This carried on throughout  our cruise and every meal after this the waiter came to find my friend and discussed what was suitable for her to eat.

Lunch is served in Windows restaurant with a variety of options. We choose to eat at The Patio with Amazing Burgers, Classic Beef, Greek & Italian dishes we really were spoilt for choice. You can also choose to dine more formally if you like in Discoveries the main dining restaurant on board.

Prime C is one of the Speciality restaurants on board and it did not disappoint.  We ordered Chateaubriand served just perfect with a Peppercorn Sauce, Triple cooked Chips and Roasted Vegetables.

On our last night on The Journey was Destination Evening. This was an evening on the pool deck, which was set up with chairs & tables and the food was BBQ, along with fresh seafood, Greek Turkish & Mediterranean dishes. There was so much food it was difficult to decide what to eat. This was a celebration of the places we had travelled to on our cruise. Lots of the food was purchased locally and they brought on board for us all to try.

I have travelled extensively and I must admit the food on this cruise was absolutely AZAMAZING.
