Having sailed with Quark previously to Svalbard I was so excited to learn that I would experience them again, this time on an adventure to Northeast Greenland sailing on their ship Ocean Explorer. 

While it’s absolutely possible to explore it by land, expedition cruises offer a completely unique perspective, giving travellers the chance to circle the entire island, reach remote fishing villages and sail past staggering sea cliffs.

Recently, I was lucky enough to embark upon an Arctic voyage with Hapag-Lloyd. From jaw-dropping destinations and inspiring activities, to sumptuous luxury and mouthwatering cuisine, it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience from start to finish. 

I have recently returned from a bucket list trip to the Arctic, sailing with Hurtigruten on their newly refurbished ship, and wanted to tell you all about it!
