Seven Seas Navigator Leaving Regent Seven Seas
Luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas announced last month that their much-loved ship, Seven Seas Navigator will leave The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet on October 14, 2026.
Built in 1999, and renowned for its all-suite accommodations, highly personalised service, and deluxe amenities, Seven Seas Navigator has provided a home-away-from-home to countless Regent guests, creating lifelong memories in all corners of the globe.
“While I know that Seven Seas Navigator is a favourite to many of you, and we are truly grateful for her years of service, it feels that it is the right time to bid adieu to this wonderful ship,” the company said, in a statement attributed to Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings’ Chief Luxury Officer, Jason Montague.
However, Seven Seas Navigator is not bowing out of the cruising scene entirely. Following a multimillion-dollar renovation, she will continue to sail the ocean as the first ship of the Crescent Seas fleet - an exclusive new brand launched by luxury real estate developer Crescent Heights - which plans to offer luxury residences at sea.
“We decided to select ships with the right configuration to convert to the most magnificent cruising yachts,” says Russel Galbut, a founding partner of Crescent Heights. “After hand-selecting this ship, we hired the same experienced management teams to operate the ship for the first 10 years of operations.”
Seven Seas Navigator will be celebrating her farewell season with a variety of events and onboard programmes in 2026, prior to her final voyage which will depart on October 2, 2026, sailing from Istanbul, Turkey to Alexandria, Egypt. These voyages have been meticulously designed to celebrate the ship’s impressive legacy and are expected to sell out quickly.
The future remains bright for Regent Seven Seas, and travellers have plenty to look forward to with two Prestige-Class newbuilds scheduled to join the fleet in 2026 and 2030 respectively.
“We have never been more excited about the future of the Regent Seven Seas Cruises brand,” the statement continued, noting that the new vessels bring “even more opportunities to see the world.”
According to Fincantieri, 2026’s Seven Seas Prestige will accommodate up to 850 guests in 434 suites, giving it one of the highest guest-to-space ratios in the industry.
“The ship will embody sophistication and refinement that is the epitome of timeless elegance, integrating the most advanced environmental technologies and introducing new accommodation categories, new dining experiences and many more incredible experiences for luxury travellers,” the shipyard added in its statement.
