48 hours in Prague

During my recent visit to Prague, I was welcomed by its delightful quirks and undeniable charm. This stunning city offers a number of unique activities, each adding to its appeal. Prague's beauty is undeniable, with picturesque sights at every turn. What truly sets Prague apart is its accessibility, everything is conveniently within walking distance or just a short Uber ride away. This makes it the perfect destination for those seeking to immerse themselves in the city's culture, even with limited time there.

One of the first places we visited was Prague Castle, which offered a mesmerizing journey through history. Its glory and rich heritage makes it a must visit destination to add to your bucket list. While exploring, I stumbled upon IPPA Café, nestled within the castle grounds, offering not only delectable cuisine but also a charming atmosphere.

Another sight we visited was the iconic John Lennon Wall, it is an experience not to be missed whilst in Prague. If you want to capture its vibrant essence without the crowds, I recommend an early morning visit for the perfect photo opportunity.

We visited The Astronomical Clock, known as one of Prague's most renowned tourist attractions, it’s a marvel of craftsmanship and precision. Witnessing its intricate workings is an inspiring experience that shouldn't be overlooked. Prague is a city full of history, for those eager to delve deeper, embarking on one of the city's informative tours provides an insightful and enriching perspective into its captivating past.

The culinary delights of Prague were truly the highlight of our trip. Sampling the offerings of several local cafes left us wanting more. However, the Charles Bridge Restaurant was undoubtedly our favourite dining experience, boasting a picturesque view overlooking the tranquil river below.

Charles Bridge served as both a charming and a vibrant hub of activity. As we strolled across this historic bridge, connecting the Old Town and the New Town, we were immersed in diverse activities, music, and stalls each contributing to the lively atmosphere of Prague.

Prague pleasantly surprised us with its affordability, offering reasonable prices that made our stay even more enjoyable. The warmth and friendliness of the locals added an extra layer of charm to our experience, leaving us with fond memories and a desire to return to this captivating city again in the future.
