Atlas Ocean Voyages’ New Sailing Ship
The state-of-the-art vessel, named Atlas Adventurer, will carry 400 passengers and 275 crew on a brand-new class of ship.
The first Atlas Class ship in the fleet, it’s a huge innovation for Atlas Ocean Voyages, showcasing the evolution of not only the brand but of hybrid luxury cruising.

Whilst currently under construction, Atlas Adventurer will make her debut in late 2028 with an inaugural season sailing around Africa and Asia. Although full itineraries have not yet been announced, Atlas has hinted that during its inaugural season, the new expedition yacht will sail to destinations such as Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, the Seychelles, Madagascar, Tanzania and South Africa.
With a Polar Category C ice class reinforced hull, Atlas Adventurer will also be capable of navigating the polar regions.
The ship’s unique design will allow it to sail using wind power; the Atlas Adventurer will boast carbon fibre masts and solid sails which will enable zero-emission cruising. Alongside other ‘green’ initiatives on board, Atlas Ocean Voyages is dedicated to environmentally responsible cruise travel.
The next chapter of Atlas Ocean Voyages approaches—with more destinations, more space and more adventure.
