An Exciting Regent Seven Seas Update
Anyone would agree that 2025 has been a pretty big year for Regent Seven Seas.
I mean, not everyone can say that they:
- Opened bookings for their brand-new ship.
- Enjoyed their biggest ever single booking day after opening afore mentioned bookings (beating their previous record by 26%).
- Announced a third Prestige-class ship, set to launch in 2033.
- Began the process of giving their fleet a sleek new makeover.
- Unveiled new ‘Spotlight Voyage’ itineraries, creating even more immersive themed cruises, tailored around a range of specific interests.
And with a plethora of additions, enhancements and landmark moments already in the calendar for 2026, it’s safe to say that The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet is well on its way to becoming even more luxurious in the coming year.
Of course, we simply can’t talk about new additions without mentioning Seven Seas Prestige, scheduled to launch in December 2026. The first in Regent’s next-generation Prestige class and indeed, ushering in the first new ship class in a decade for Regent Seven Seas, we can safely say that Prestige will be worth the wait. She will boast several all-new features, including the dazzling Starlight Atrium, expanded spa facilities and new restaurant, Azure and accommodate 822 passengers across 411 suites.

And trust us, these aren’t your everyday suites.
The 8,000 sq ft Skyview Regent Suite has already been awarded the title of ‘Biggest Suite in Cruising History’ and with its wraparound balcony, two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, living room, private gym, sauna and in-suite elevator, it’s little wonder that these fabulous quarters sold out on 6 of Prestige’s 13 inaugural sailings on the very first day.

Much work has been taking place to ensure that Seven Seas Prestige is the most luxurious addition to the fleet yet and she last month hit a major milestone, floating out of her Fincantieri dry dock for the very time to a fanfare of champagne toasting and ribbon cutting. This may be just one small step for cruise ship but it’s one giant leap for cruise shipkind as anticipation grows for Prestige’s 2026 launch. Her debut season through Europe and the Caribbean will mark the next chapter in the world of ultra-luxury cruise travel, seamlessly blending cutting-edge engineering with stellar craftsmanship and chic style.
Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, said: “Seven Seas Prestige touching water for the first time marks an extraordinary moment for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, representing the culmination of years of planning and collaboration with our long-standing partners at Fincantieri. The overwhelming response to this vessel affirms that discerning travellers recognise something truly exceptional is on the horizon; emphasised by the ship’s launch day, which became our biggest single booking day for a new ship in our history. From the unprecedented Skyview Regent Suite to every thoughtfully designed detail, Seven Seas Prestige embodies our dedication to redefining ultra-luxury travel.”

And that’s not all.
Whilst Regent Seven Seas are eager to expand their fleet, they have no intention of leaving their older ships behind in the dust and have embarked on an ambitious dry dock programme to breathe life into these much-loved vessels. A multi-million-dollar dry dock for both Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager is set to give both ships a contemporary makeover, fitting new light fixtures and furnishings, refreshing colour palettes, revitalising public areas and enhancing the Pool Grill with a new pizzeria concept for al fresco dining.
“We are excited to upgrade Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager as we continue in our ‘pursuit of perfection,’ elevating the standard of ultra-luxury cruising,” said Jason Montague. “Following the resounding success of our Explorer class ships and in preparation to welcome our Prestige class ships, enhancing Seven Seas Mariner and Seven Seas Voyager is the natural next step as we move into an exciting new era for the brand.”

One development which we are particularly excited about is the launch of the Epicurean Enrichment Studio, an educational facility, bustling kitchen and technologically advanced theatre space all in one. Conceptualised by Chef Kathryn Kelly, this unique venture will launch just in time for Seven Seas Mariner’s 2026 World Cruise and will also feature aboard Seven Seas Voyager.
The Studio’s programming will be dictated by five distinct components, all coming together to create a flavourful journey like no other:
- Epicurean Passport Series - As guests traverse more than 20 culinary regions - everywhere from Iberia to India and Polynesia to Patagonia - they’ll collect stamps and illustrated recipes in a keepsake passport.
- Chef’s Circle – Wanting to take your cooking skills to the next level? Look no further. Here, a combination of lectures, classes, mixology demonstrations, cookbook readings, storytelling sessions and film screenings will kickstart your culinary education.
- Chef’s Table – Enjoy unparalleled access to some of the world’s leading culinary experts with classes like Spices of The World or Olive Oils 101, watch chefs cook up a storm of regional dishes right in front of you (and sample them too!) and partake in intimate Q&A sessions alongside your fellow foodies.
- Chef-Led Epicurean Enrichment Tours – Take your culinary adventure on the road with a selection of epicurean excursions to markets, vineyards and local kitchens, each designed to provide the ultimate farm-to-table experience and deepen your appreciation for each delicacy you consume.
- Chef-Hosted Dining – An intimate cocktail hour and multi-course tasting menu with the chef—this is the ultimate dining experience.
Perhaps one of the most exciting things to have come out of 2025 was the announcement that the beloved Seven Seas Navigator will not be departing the fleet as originally planned and will instead be receiving her own dry dock ahead of her next season, which you can book now in tandem with Regent’s expanded Concierge Collection. The new collection features 32 itineraries sailing between November 2026 and November 2027, including Regent’s very first full winter Mediterranean season, in which guests can absorb storied history, rich culture and iconic monuments at leisure, far away from the teeming crowds of the region’s peak tourist season. Following her stint in the Mediterranean, Navigator will be heading on an unforgettable journey through Africa, Asia, Australia and the South Pacific, hitting enough bucket-list ports to make your head spin.

“The launch of this new season marks an exciting evolution for Seven Seas Navigator and for Regent,” said Jason Montague. “As the leading ultra-luxury cruise line, we are dedicated to curating an exceptional, unforgettable experience for our guests across the fleet. From the quieter winters in the Mediterranean’s most beloved destinations, to adventures in Asia/Pacific and rare overnight stays in iconic ports of call, this extraordinary collection of voyages reflects our continued commitment to delivering immersive and effortlessly luxurious travel experiences.”
And indeed, where immersive and effortlessly luxurious travel experiences are concerned, it’s safe to say Regent reigns supreme. With all this on this horizon, it’s hard not to feel excited about what else the line may have up their sleeves. You’ll have to watch this space to find out more…
