Are you a foodie too?

I was lucky to experience a fabulous three nights aboard Scenic Eclipse in early May and WOW is all I can say. It was like entering a different dimension, a yacht but with all the Cruise added extras.

Seeing as I am a massive foodie, I based my blog on dining experiences. We were so lucky to taste and immerse ourselves in the culinary delights onboard.

Koko’s Asian Restaurant –  I would recommend you to try everything on the entire menu, the smaller dishes give you the option to savour every taste and try traditional cuisine you may have never even heard of. The duck rolls were incredible and when you  pair the sake with this dish, the taste goes hand in hand.

Yacht Club– This is no buffet main dining restaurant, this is like a marketplace, Harrods food bar. The options will keep you interested each day; no two days are the same and you can entirely pick your own dishes but still have the elegant restaurant feel flowing throughout. I would highly recommend dining outside during lunch time, the views are amazing and you can still catch some rays whilst sipping on your Pinot (my favourite activity).

Elements – The Seafood, Steak and Italian dining option and wow this place is unreal. The 6-course tasting menu is highly recommended with the smaller size dishes which enables you to try even more. The pasta was cooked to perfection but my favourite feature was the fact the wall was broken up by mirrors, then each small window allowed you access to see directly into the kitchen and the chefs were all smiling away.

Lumiere – quite possibly the best French Restaurant I have ever dined in, the contemporary French atmosphere was incredible and the Champagne bar was simply unmissable. The staff managed to get each dish spot on with perfect wine pairing. You will be served a slice of Beef Wellington washed down with Chateauneuf du pape which is served together like perfection. Just add a small jug of Red wine Jus and it’s a taste explosion.

I could not recommend this experience any more! I had the best time and experienced the ultimate luxury aboard with attentive staff, unrivalled culinary delights and so much more.
