Three Ways to See the World: Azamara's 2029 World Cruise
The details
- The Complete World Cruise – 195 nights, San Diego to Copenhagen, 3 January to 17 July 2029
- The 179-Night World Cruise – San Diego to London, 3 January to 1 July 2029
- The 139-Night World Cruise – Sydney to Copenhagen, 1 March to 17 July 2029
All three sail aboard Azamara Quest, a small ship that slips into harbours larger vessels simply can't reach. The full voyage is the longest World Cruise available in 2029, and with 12 maiden ports along the way, even well-travelled guests will find somewhere new.

Your route around the world
Azamara Cruises' world cruise adventure begins in San Diego and heads straight for the islands. An overnight in Honolulu sets the pace, followed by Maui, Kona and Hilo before French Polynesia, with overnights in Mo'orea, Papeete and Bora Bora. From there, the South Pacific unfolds island by island: Samoa, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and remote Norfolk Island.
New Zealand is explored from the Bay of Islands all the way down to Dunedin, before an overnight in Sydney. Quest then traces Australia's southern and western coasts to the wild Kimberley, sails on to Bali and Java, and reaches Singapore. Asia brings overnights in Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong, Taipei, two nights in Shanghai, Beijing, Seoul and a rich run along Japan's coast with overnights in Osaka and Tokyo.

Crossing the Pacific, the voyage turns north to Alaska, with Kodiak, Seward, Hubbard Glacier and Juneau, then follows the coast south through Vancouver, Seattle and San Francisco to a maiden call at Catalina Island. Mexico, Central America and the Panama Canal lead to an overnight in Cartagena, before Miami, New York and Canada's Atlantic coast.
The final chapter is Europe. After an overnight in Cork and calls in Fowey and Honfleur, Quest arrives in London, where the 179-night voyage ends. The full World Cruise continues through Bruges, Amsterdam and the Kiel Canal into the Baltic, with Gdansk, Visby, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki and Riga, before a grand finale overnight in Copenhagen.
More time in every destination
What sets this voyage apart isn't just where it goes, but how long it stays. Around 65% of the full World Cruise is spent in port, with 16 overnight stays and 60 late nights. That means time for a long dinner ashore, an evening performance or a wander through the old town once the day-trippers have gone. It's Azamara's Destination Immersion philosophy at its fullest.
