Regent Seven Seas announce exciting new F1 project with Aston Martin

Ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises and the iconic Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team have unveiled the next phase of their exclusive partnership: an exhilarating new Spotlight Voyage set to sail the Mediterranean in summer 2025.

The Spotlight Voyage will be hosted by former Formula 1 driver Pedro de la Rosa alongside engineers and executives from the Aston Martin Aramco team. Scheduled for 22nd July 2025, the 10-night journey aboard Seven Seas Splendor promises an immersive experience. Representatives from Aston Martin will also participate, conducting workshops focused on innovation and design.

This unique voyage aims to merge the worlds of ultra-luxury cruising and high-performance Grand Prix racing, visiting destinations rich in motor racing history, such as Barcelona, Spain, and Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has also curated pre- and post-cruise motor-racing themed, multi-day land programmes for guests wishing to extend their vacations. These programmes include tours of famous racetracks, private car collections and the opportunity to attend an Aston Martin Aramco Race Weekend Experience in Hungary following the Spotlight Voyage.

The voyage promises once-in-a-lifetime moments, blending the thrill of high-performance motor racing with the ultra-luxury, all-inclusive Regent experience. Onboard activities will include meet and greets and Q&A sessions with Pedro de la Rosa, an ambassador for Aston Martin Aramco and veteran of over 100 Grands Prix.

Additional members of the Aston Martin Formula One Team will lead masterclasses, workshops, meet and greets, and panel discussions throughout the cruise.

Off the ship, curated driving and motor-racing experiences around the destinations will enhance the voyage. In Monte Carlo, guests will enjoy a bespoke tour including the Classic Car Collection, the iconic Monaco Circuit and Prince Rainier's personal car collection, culminating in a panoramic helicopter flight.

On board, travellers will see a full-size replica of one of the team’s race cars featuring the Regent logo, displayed on a public deck of the Seven Seas Splendor. An Aston Martin simulator will also be available for guests to test their skills on a virtual circuit.

The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team Spotlight Voyage experience will include special “Race Day” themed dishes, cocktails, deck parties, documentary screenings, gifts, co-branded merchandise, and Culinary Arts Kitchen classes.

Regent guests will enjoy unlimited included shore excursions in destinations including Barcelona, Valencia, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Provence (Marseille), Saint-Tropez, Monte Carlo, Portofino, and Tuscany (Livorno), with disembarkation in Rome (Civitavecchia).
